Ukraine’s independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty are non-negotiable in talks with Russia.
“For us, our independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty are non-negotiable,” Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak told French TV channel TF1 in an interview, Ukrinform reports.
As noted, the issue of Crimea is difficult and is being discussed. The solution to this issue may be postponed for a while However, according to Head of the President’s Office, Ukraine will never recognize the illegal annexation of Crimea and will make every effort to regain this territory.
The last face-to-face round of negotiations between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations was held in Istanbul. The Ukrainian delegation put forward a number of proposals to end the war, including the signing of an international agreement on security guarantees for Ukraine.
