AeroDrone gets permit to operate two new drones in Armed Forces of Ukraine

AeroDrone startup received a permit to operate two new drones in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“AeroDrone team passed certification and received a permit to operate our two types of unmanned aircraft systems: E-300 Enterprise (payload up to 300 kg) and D-80 Discovery (payload up to 80 kg) in the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Dmytro Shymkiv, startup partner, ex-director general of Microsoft Ukraine, executive chairman of the board of directors of Darnitsa Group, posted on Facebook.

Shymkiv thanked the team of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, representatives of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and everyone who helped in this process.

“The level of involvement and assistance is unprecedented, Oleksandr Liev’s team revolutionized the processes for Ukrainian UAV developers. Next step is controlled operation and mass production!” Shymkiv noted.
