
Russian forces shelled Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region with Smerch MLRS, killing one civilian and injuring four others.
Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“This afternoon, Russians shelled the town (Kostiantynivka) with Smerch and 152-mm artillery. At least one person was killed and four were wounded: a 32-year-old man was killed, and local residents aged 48 to 82 were wounded,” the regional governor wrote.
He added five private houses, four multi-story buildings, an administrative building, three enterprises, three power lines, a gas pipeline and a car were damaged.
Filashkin urged everyone to evacuate: “Anyone who still stays in the region, let alone in the frontline cities, is risking their lives and health every day! Be responsible! Evacuate!”
As reported, on February 27, the Russian invaders launched two attacks on Kramatorsk, injuring one civilian.
