
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian forces launched a missile strike on the Vasylkivka community of the Synelnykove district, killing two people.
Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, according to Ukrinform.
“The aggressor struck the Vasylkivka community in the Synelnykove district. Unfortunately, there are fatalities. According to preliminary information, two people were killed. Our condolences to their families and loved ones,” Lysak wrote.
According to him, the missile attack destroyed a clinic, a school, and a cultural institution. In addition, private houses were damaged and vehicles caught fire.
The extent of the damage is being assessed.
As was reported earlier, Russian forces attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region overnight, with explosions heard in Pavlohrad, Dnipro, as well as the Synelnykove and Nikopol districts.
