Fire station, dormitory damaged in Odesa overnight drone attack

Overnight on July 22, a Russian drone strike on Odesa caused significant destruction, including damage to a fire station and its dormitory.

This was reported to journalists by Maryna Averina, spokesperson for the regional office of the State Emergency Service (SES), according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

“As a result of the attack, a large fire broke out at a parking lot near a residential high-rise. Twelve vehicles caught fire. A supermarket, a training gym, and residential apartments suffered damage — windows were shattered. A fire station and its dormitory were also affected,” Averina said.

As reported earlier by Ukrinform, Russian forces launched a drone attack at Odesa overnight on July 22, injuring one person.
