Ukraine’s grain, oilseed exports up to $11B since July 2024

Between July 2024 and January 2025, Ukraine’s grain and oilseed exports reached USD 11 billion, which is USD 1.3 billion higher compared to the same period last season.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As for grain crops, Ukraine exported USD 2.412 billion worth of corn, USD 2.084 billion worth of wheat and USD 350 million worth of barley.

The export of certain oilseed crops increased, namely soybeans – to USD 909 million and rapeseed – to USD 1.452 billion.

At the same time, the export of sunflower seeds reduced to USD 22 million. Despite a decline in sunflower oil exports, proceeds from sunflower oil sales were the highest among other crops, totaling USD 2.701 billion.

Meanwhile, revenues from the export of press cake decreased to USD 682 million and other vegetable oils – to USD 393 million.

A reminder that, in January 2025, Ukraine exported 5 million tonnes of agricultural products, which is 9.7% lower compared to the previous month.
