Over the past day, February 26, 110 combat engagements took place at the frontline, with Ukrainian troops repelling 33 enemy attacks in the Pokrovsk sector.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, publishing operational information as of 08:00 on Thursday, February 26.
Yesterday, the enemy launched missile attacks and 81 air strikes at the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 121 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, Russian troops carried out about six thousand attacks, including 109 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,557 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes in the areas of Hlukhiv, Mykolaivka, Semenivka, Masheve, Vovchanskykhutoriv, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Varvarovka, and Lvove.
Over the past day, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck one area of personnel concentration, four command posts, an electronic warfare station, an artillery vehicle and one other important enemy object.
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses five times towards Vovchansk, Stroyivka and Dvorichna.
Five militants’ attacks took place in the Kupiansk sector yesterday. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Petropavlivka and Zahryzove.
In the Lyman sector, the invaders attacked five times. They tried to break in near Kolodyazy, Novolyubivka, Hrekivka and Zelena Dolyna.
In the Siversky sector, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled an enemy attack near Hryhorivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the militants attacked five times in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Novomarkove, Vasyukivka and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out ten attacks in the areas of Toretsk and Krymske.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped 33 aggressor’s assault actions towards the settlements of Tarasivka, Novotoretske, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Leontovychi, Kotlynne, Udachne, Nadiivka and Uspenivka.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy made 19 attacks in the direction of Kostiantynopil, Rozdolne, Shevchenko and Burlatske during the day.
In the Huliaypillia sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled three attacks in the direction of Charivne.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russian troops twice stormed the positions of the Defense Forces in the vicinity of Pyatikhatky.
The enemy did not conduct any active hostilities in the Dnipro sector yesterday.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces are continuing their operation in the Kursk region. Yesterday, the enemy carried out 16 air strikes, dropping 21 drones, and fired 463 times, 36 of them from multiple rocket launchers. Ukrainian defenders repelled 18 assault attacks by the invaders.
As reported by Ukrinform, the losses of Russian invaders amounted to 1,150 people over the past day. Also, Ukrainian soldiers neutralized 8 tanks, 13 armored combat vehicles, 69 artillery systems, one air defense system, 141 operational and tactical UAVs, 140 vehicles and a unit of special equipment of the invaders.
