Russians shell Sumy region six times overnight and in morning, damaging houses

At night and in the morning, Russians fired six times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. 12 explosions were recorded.

This is reported in Telegram by the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

As noted, the Yunakivka, Lypovodolynska, Hlukhiv, Shalyhine, Khutir-Mykhailivka, Yampil communities were shelled.

“Hlukhiv community: the enemy dropped an explosive from a UAV (1 explosion). Yampil community: a UAV attack was recorded. Yunukivska community: Russians attacked with an FPV drone (1 explosion),” the statement reads.

Reportedly, in the Khutir-Mykhailivka community, an explosive ordnance was dropped from a UAV (1 explosion).

“Lypovodolynska community: a UAV attack was carried out. A private house was damaged as a result of falling debris,” – the message reads.

Later, the head of the Romny district administration, Valentyna Nazarenko, reported on Facebook that three houses in the Lypovodolynska community were damaged.

“Today, around 04:00, a UAV attacked a private house in the Lypovodolynska community. At least three houses were damaged. There were no casualties among the population,” the statement said.

The Russians dropped 8 mines on the Shalyhine community.

As reported, yesterday during the day, 138 attacks by the Russian occupation army on the lands and settlements of 12 communities in Sumy region were recorded, on which 232 shells of various types were dropped, including 3 guided aerial bombs.

As a result of these terrorist attacks, two civilians were injured in Mykolaiv community, 13 private houses, a lyceum building and 4 cars were damaged.
