
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out nearly 70 shelling attacks on 33 settlements in 13 territorial communities of the Sumy Region.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“The most shelling was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka Districts. As a result of Russian shelling of the region, there are dead and wounded civilians,” the report said.
In the Svesa territorial community, one person (born in 1947) was killed in a UAV attack, and in the Shostka community, two civilians (born in 1968 and 1977) were injured.
The Regional Military Administration notes that the enemy actively used guided aerial bombs, fragmentation shells, UAVs, and FPV drones.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, a civilian infrastructure facility was destroyed, in the Druzhba community, a farm building and a private house were damaged, and in the Svesa community, residential buildings were destroyed.
It was reported that in the Sumy Region, Russians attacked the village of Svesa community with drones, killing a civilian woman.
