The foreign ministers of Ukraine, Romania, Moldova, Poland, and Lithuania will hold another round of political consultations on Friday, August 8, in Chernivtsi.
This was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha during a joint press conference with Romanian Foreign Minister Oana-Silvia Țoiu in Kyiv, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.
“Today we are traveling together to Chernivtsi. There, together with our Moldovan colleague, we will hold another round of political consultations in the Ukraine-Romania-Moldova format. Our colleagues from Poland and Lithuania will also join us. This is a signal that security in the Baltic and Black Seas is indivisible,” Sybiha said.
As reported by Ukrinform, the head of Ukrainian diplomacy previously announced that the meeting of the foreign ministers of the Lublin Triangle, Moldova, and Romania would be devoted to strengthening the region’s energy security ahead of winter and coordinating actions to counter Russian disinformation.
