Ukraine ranks second at Beijing Paralympics medal tally

Ukraine national team finished its participation in the XIII Paralympic Winter Games in Beijing (China). Over the nine days of competition, Ukrainian athletes won 11 gold, 10 silver, 8 bronze medals and ranked second in the overall team standing, Ukrinform reports. Twenty-nine Ukrainian athletes competed in two sports (biathlon and skiing): 20 Paralympians (13 - with musculoskeletal disorders, 7 - with visual impairments) and 9 guides.
