Unique wooden church of 17th century restored in western Ukraine
The Descent of the Holy Spirit Church, a unique wooden monument of the 17th century, was restored in Kolochava, Zakarpattia region, within the Great Restoration project. The cost of the reconstruction works totaled UAH 5 million, the website of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration reports. In particular, emergency works were carried out. The best craftspeople were involved in the restoration. The works were performed without a single nail to renew the utmost authenticity of the architectural monument of Zakarpattia region.
