In a statement to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine today, the President said about the introduction of the Ukrainian economic passport: “I want to praise the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine – last night we voted for a very important tax law No 5600, which increases the rent: payment for the use of natural resources. We will save this money for our children. Therefore, before December 10, for the first time in history, I will introduce a bill on the economic passport of a citizen of Ukraine. Under it, the money – the fee for the use of our resources – will be accumulated in personal accounts of children of Ukrainian citizens. When they reach the age of majority, they will be able to use it for education or buying real estate. Thanks to these two laws, our oligarchs will finally become real investors in our children’s future. And this will be the first time in the years of our independence.
