Belarus is running no active operations close to Ukraine in the area bordering Kyiv region.

That’s according to the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Oleksiy Kuleba, Ukrinform reports.

“Together with the head of Kyiv National Police Department Andriy Nebytov, we visited the region’s border areas. We’d like to assure you that no activity is observed on the Belarusian side of the border,” Kuleba said.

He stressed that the operational headquarters is working around the clock, while all relevant agencies have stepped up their game in coordinating their efforts.

“It is worth remembering that the war is going on at all fronts, including the information war. We must understand that each of us is an information source. Don’t spread unverified news and stick to official sources only,” Kuleba added.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Border Committee of Belarus has restricted public access to the border zone in three districts of their Gomel region bordering Ukraine’s Kyiv and Chernihiv regions through the summer period.
