Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops fired on 32 localities in Luhansk and Donetsk regions, killing at least four people and injuring 13 more.
“At least four civilians were killed, 13 people were injured. Information on the casualties is being clarified,” the Joint Forces Task Force posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
It is reported that the invaders destroyed and damaged 81 civilian objects, including 75 residential buildings, the metalworking shop of the Energomashspetsstal Plant and the household building of the Novokramatorsk Machine-Building Plant in Kramatorsk, the shop of control and measuring devices and automation of AZOT enterprise in Sivierodenotesk, garages of the Ilius agricultural enterprise in Khromove, Vohnyk children’s camp and public utility enterprise in Bakhmut, All Saints Skete of the Sviatohirsk Lavra in Tetianivka, Ukrposhta post office in Lysychansk.
Pyrotechnicians detected and neutralized 63 explosive devices in Kramatorsk, Bakhmut, Pokrovske, Volnovakha districts of Donetsk region.
According to the Joint Forces Task Force, rescuers evacuated 544 people from the combat zone over the past 24 hours.
On February 24, Russian president Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure facilities, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles.
