Russia’s war crimes: 28 more civilians reported killed in Kharkiv Region

Kharkiv Region’s police have registered the death of 28 more civilians in Izium District, seized by Russian troops.

The relevant statement was made by Head of Criminal Investigations Division of the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in Kharkiv Region Serhii Bolvinov on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The dead list has been updated. The new information about 28 persons killed over an indefinite period of time was received from the occupied territories of Izium District,” Bolvinov wrote.

On June 4, 2022, a total of 33 persons were reported killed, including a child.

In general, as of June 4, 2022, a total of 791 civilians were killed in Kharkiv Region, including 39 children.

A reminder that Russian troops have been extensively shelling and bombarding the city of Izium since March 6, 2022, destroying infrastructure and the entire entrances of apartment blocks.
