Russian troops have launched 24 strikes on the Donetsk region and shelled 18 settlements in the past day.
That’s according to the Donetsk region police, Ukrinform reports.
The enemy shelled Kramatorsk, Dobropillia, Kostiantynivka, Bakhmut, Sloviansk, Soledar, Siversk, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Cherkaske, Semyhiria, Orlivka, Novomykolaivka, Khrestyshche, Vesela Dolyna, Ivankivske, Pervomaiske, and Tonenke.
Russian forces used S-300 air defense systems, aircraft, Grad, Uragan, Smerch, Tornado-S MLRS, and artillery.
Civilian casualties were recorded. Among the victims are small children. They were provided with medical assistance.
Some 31 civilian objects were destroyed – 12 residential buildings, including four apartment blocks, three schools, factories, an electric substation, a farm, a customs office, a cultural center, etc.
The police and Ukraine’s SBU State Security Service opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
