Chubarov says Russians should prepare for provocations by FSB

The head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, has said he does not rule out that after the events surrounding the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, Russians should prepare for provocations by the FSB.

He wrote this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

“According to a Russian Gauleiter of the occupied Sevastopol, Razvozhaev, the ‘headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet’ was attacked by a drone that fell and exploded in its courtyard. At the same time, they claimed that no one was killed, but they say five employees of the headquarters were wounded. It was also reported that the Russian occupiers in Sevastopol have canceled all ‘holiday events dedicated to the Navy Day’ planned for today,” Chubarov wrote.

According to him, it is not excluded that the “attack” was arranged by the Russian occupiers themselves as a valid reason for canceling the events dedicated to the Russian Navy Day, the “festivity” of which would look questionable after the destruction in April 2022 by the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the Moskva, the largest flagship warship of the Russian fleet.

In this case, the Russian society should prepare for a series of explosions of residential buildings in the cities of Russia, similar to those organized by Russia’s FSB in September 1999 in Buynaksk, Moscow and Volgodonsk, Chubarov said.

In Sevastopol, the occupiers canceled a “traditional parade of ships” on the Navy Day on July 31. Instead, the aggressors will hold prayers and rallies in Crimea.
