At night, the enemy struck Dnipro city with Iskander missiles. One person was killed, five more people were injured.
“One person was killed and five people were injured. This is the current situation after a Russian Iskander missile attack on peaceful Dnipro at night…” Valentyn Reznichenko, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.
Enemy missiles destroyed a transport company. During the fire, caused by the explosion, 52 buses burnt down, another 98 were damaged.
Several apartment blocks, a school, a store, and administrative buildings were damaged in the city.
Rescuers have been working at the sites and investigating the scale of the destruction.
“The situation in Nikopol region was also tense. The Russians hit the district with Grad MLRS and heavy artillery three times. In Chervonohryhorivka community, industrial facilities, a dozen private houses, a water pipe, and a power line were damaged. In Nikopol, shells hit private houses,” Reznichenko wrote.
No casualties have been reported.
