Two enemy pontoon crossings over Inhulets remain under Ukraine Army’s fire control

In the Kherson region, Russian troops have again built two pontoon crossings over the Inhulets, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine are keeping them under constant fire control.

The relevant statement was made by Kherson Regional Council Member Serhii Khlan during a briefing at Ukraine Media Center, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The two alternative crossings that have been built by Russians are those near Darivka, near the Inhulets. This river divides the Kherson region’s right bank into two parts: the one is that very northern direction, Beryslav, where counteroffensive actions are taking place now, and the other is the city of Kherson and the Mykolaiv direction,” Khlan told.

In his words, Russian troops also built temporary crossings across the Kakhovka HPP lock and alternative crossings not far from Nova Kakhovka.

“But, no matter how the occupiers try to set up such alternative crossings, they are still under the Ukrainian Army’s constant fire control, and, whenever they transfer weapons, they receive a greeting from our artillery,” Khlan noted.

A reminder that, according to Kherson Regional Military Administration Head Yaroslav Yanushevych, about 2.5 thousand square meters of Ukrainian territories in the Kherson region were liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine last week.
