Number of Russian mobilized soldiers increased in three Belarusian cities

In three Belarusian cities, the number of Russian mobilized soldiers has increased.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Russian troops continue to focus efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut direction. In the Lyman and Avdiivka directions, the enemy is trying to improve their tactical position.

In other directions, Russian invaders are trying to restrict the actions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces, shelling the positions of Ukrainian forces and civilian objects, setting up defensive frontiers and positions.

Over the past day, Russian occupiers have launched four missile strikes and nine air strikes, and opened fire with miltliple launch rocket systems (MLRS) 25 times. In particular, the enemy launched missile strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region’s Komyshuvakha, Hryhorivske and Yulivka.

The threat of missile strikes on Ukraine’s energy system and critical infrastructure is persisting all over the country.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation remained rather unchanged. The formation of enemy offensive groupings was not detected. The number of Russian mobilized soldiers increased in such Belarusian cities as Mazyr, Gomel and Mogilev. The records  of conscripts are being checked across the military commissariats in the Gomel region.

In the Siverskyi direction, separate Russian units are deployed within the border areas of Russia’s Bryansk region and Kursk region. The enemy launched mortar strikes on the Sumy region’s Khodyne.

In the Slobozhanskyi direction, Russians used mortars and cannon artillery to strike the Kharkiv region’s Strilecha, Zelene, Ternova, Starytsia, Chuhunivka and Kamianka.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy used tanks and various artillery pieces to open fire on the Kharkiv region’s Dvorichna, Kupiansk, Krokhmalne and Pershotravneve, and the Luhansk region’s Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka.

In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders shelled the Luhansk region’s Hrekivka, Nevske and Chervinoppivka, and the Donetsk region’s Torske and Hryhorivka.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops used tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery to open fire on over 20 settlements, including the Donetsk region’s Verkhniokamianske, Bilohorivka, Vesele, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Andriivka, Bila Hora, Kurdiumivka, Ozarianivka, Dyliivka and Zalizne.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy struck the Donetsk region’s Avdiivka, Berdychiv, Marinka and Novomykhailivka.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian troops launched mortar and artillery strikes on the Donetsk region’s Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka and Novopil.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russians opened fire on the Zaporizhzhia region’s Chervone, Dorozhnianka, Zaliznychne, Orikhiv, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Stepove and Chervonodniprovka, and the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Vyshchetarasivka.

In the Kherson direction, Russian invaders launched artillery strikes on the Kherson region’s settlements, which are close to the contact line. Kherson and its outskirts were struck with artillery. Casualties among civilians were reported.

Meanwhile, Russian occupiers continue suffering losses. Over the past day, about 50 injured Russian mercenaries were delivered to a central city hospital in the Luhansk region’s temporarily occupied city of Kadiivka.

Ukraine’s missile and artillery units have struck two enemy personnel, ammunition and military equipment clusters over the past day.
