Eight Russian warships combat ready in Black Sea


Eight Russian warships, including a missile carrier equipped with eight Kalibr-type missiles, are now combat ready in the Black Sea.

The relevant statement was made by Spokesperson for the South Operational Command Vladyslav Nazarov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In the Black Sea, the enemy’s naval group has expanded to eight vessels. The surface missile carrier, equipped with eight Klaibr-type missiles, took up combat duty,” Nazarov noted.

In his words, the situation in the operational zone is remaining stable and controlled by Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

A reminder that, on December 14, 2022, Russia kept eight warships on combat duty in the Black Sea. No missile carriers were among them.
