The National Police of Ukraine has opened 57,499 criminal proceedings over the crimes committed by the Russian military and their accomplices in Ukraine since the full-scale invasion started.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Internal Affairs Ministry, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Since the Russian armed aggression in Ukraine started, the National Police of Ukraine has opened 57,499 criminal proceedings over the crimes committed by the Russian military and their accomplices,” the report states.
Most criminal proceedings (45,818) were opened over the violation of laws and customs of war. Additionally, about 10,000 criminal proceedings were related to the encroachment on Ukraine’s territorial integrity and inviolability, 2,291 – collaborative activities, 107 – treason, and 37 – sabotage.
