Capital city, Kyiv region returning to stabilization blackouts

The city of Kyiv and Kyiv region are returning to the previous schedules of stabilization power outages.

That’s according to the DTEK grid operator, Ukrinform reports.

“Due to the efforts of our energy repair teams, it was possible to stabilize the situation after the latest attack by the occupiers and return to the schedules of stabilization shutdowns,” the statement reads.

DTEK added that the situation in the power system remains difficult, and urged consumers not to turn on several powerful household appliances at the same time.

As reported by Ukrinform, on Thursday, January 26, Russian invaders fired 55 missiles at Ukraine, 47 of which were destroyed by air defense forces.
