The occupation authorities in the Luhansk region are forcing people to leave villages and towns near the front line.

Serhii Haidai, head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, said this on Ukraine’s television, Ukrinform reports.

“The occupiers are beginning to force out people and even entire settlements near the front, Kreminna, Rubizhne, offering no housing for them. Towns are closed for entry and exit,” Haidai said.

He added that the Russian invaders are very afraid that locals could help the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in particular, by giving information about the location, number of personnel, places of concentration, weapons of the enemy. That is why punitive, repressive measures are being intensified in the front-line towns and villages, with the invaders driving everyone deep into the temporarily occupied Luhansk region.
