Following today’s Russian massive missile attacks, restoration work at energy facilities across Ukraine are underway. The most difficult situation is in Kharkiv and Zhytomyr regions.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in his video address to the nation, Ukrinform reports.
“Restoration work at power facilities has been ongoing all day. Kharkiv and the Zhytomyr region have the most difficult situation. Odesa, the Dnipropetrovsk region, Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia are also facing difficulties,” he said.
Zelensky assured that repair crews, power engineers, local authorities and the central government – everyone will work for as long as necessary to restore power supply to the cities and districts where there are problems. The President thanked everyone who is working for this.
“We have already shown what Ukraine is capable of. And no matter how treacherous Russia’s actions are, our state and people will not be in chains. Neither missiles nor Russian atrocities will help them,” the head of state said.
Zelensky also thanked all the warriors of Ukraine’s Air Force, especially the 138th Dnipro, 160th Odesa and 208th Kherson anti-aircraft missile brigades, which distinguished themselves in the defense of Ukraine.
As reported, on the night and morning of March 9, Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine.
