Russians destroy bridge in Chernihiv region, ‘cutting off’ border village

Russian troops destroyed a bridge over the Sudost River in the Chernihiv region.

This is reported by Ukrinform, referring to Suspilne.

According to the head of the Novhorod-Siverskyi district military administration, Serhii Serhienko, the bridge across the Sudost connected the border village of Muravyi with the starosta district – the village of  Hremiach. According to him, people in the village were cut off from the “big land”.

“For several weeks, bridges across the rivers of the  Novhorod-Siverskyi community have been shelled. This makes it impossible to provide services to the population in a normal format: to provide food and other things. It also restricts the movement to the central government bodies,” Serhienko said.

As Ukrinform earlier reported, the bridge across Sudost River has been systematically shelled by Russians for several weeks.
