Zaluzhny discusses situation at front line with Bundeswehr Inspector General

This week, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny met with Inspector General of the Bundeswehr General Carsten Breuer in Ukraine.

“I was glad to welcome Inspector General of the Bundeswehr General Carsten Breuer to Ukraine this week. We had a constructive conversation. I described the situation at the front and informed him of the preparation of the security and defense forces for future actions to liberate our territory,” Zaluzhny posted on Telegram.

In addition, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine thanked for the military assistance already provided by Germany: IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile systems, Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, Leopard tanks, and other weapons.

He expressed hope that all partners of Ukraine will make the right decision in the future and we will receive F-16 aircraft.

“In a conversation with General Breuer, we pointed to the importance of continued support for Ukraine, agreed to stay in touch and do everything possible to strengthen our defense capabilities,” Zaluzhny added.

As reported, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny said that Ukraine needs Western F-16 fighter jets.
