Ukraine downs three Russian drones over Kherson region

In Kherson region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down three Russian unmanned aerial vehicles.

That’s according to Air Command South, Ukrinform reports.

“On May 21, 2023, in Kherson Region, air defense units of Air Command South destroyed three Russian uncrewed aerial vehicles: a Merlin-VR UAV, an Orlan-10 UAV, and a ZALA UAV,” reads the report.

The Air Command recalled basic safety rules. First of all, “do not ignore air raid alert signals; take shelter. Do not approach or touch suspicious objects. You should stay at least 150-200 meters away from the waterfront.”

Also, OC South urges residents not to aid the enemy by taking unauthorized photos and videos of the movement or activities of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on May 20, air defense forces destroyed five Russian drones over Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
