Today, UN Security Council to discuss Russia’s blowing up of Kakhovka HPP dam

On Tuesday, the UN Security Council will discuss Russia’s blowing up of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant dam.

That’s according to Ukrinform’s own correspondent in New York, the Security Council meeting was initiated by Ukraine.

The meeting is expected to begin at 16:00 (23:00 Kyiv time).

As reported, on the night of June 6, Russian troops blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant. As a result of the explosion of the engine room from the inside, the station was completely destroyed.

Evacuation of the population from potential flood areas has begun.
