Russians wound three police officers, girl in Kherson region

Russian troops have opened fire on evacuation groups in the Kherson region, wounding three police officers and an adolescent girl.

The Kherson region police reported this on their Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.

“In the regional center, the Russian military once again attacked the Korabel neighborhood, from where the evacuation of local residents is ongoing, as well as the city center, wounding a 16-year-old girl and a police officer. Apartment blocks and private houses were damaged in the city, and fires broke out there after the strikes,” the report said.

According to the police, Russian troops shelled towns and villages in the Beryslav and Kherson districts with multiple rocket launchers, artillery, mortars, aircraft and UAVs. The town of Beryslav, the village of Zmiivka and the village of Novoberyslav were damaged by an enemy air raid. Residential buildings were damaged by guided bombs. The enemy also struck the village of Tiahynka. A 64-year-old local was seriously wounded there, and hangars were damaged. Police officers were also injured there Russian troops dropped ammunition from a drone.
