In the Tavria direction, the Defense Forces have liberated the territories near Krasnohorivka in Donetsk region that have been occupied since 2014.

That’s according to the Commander of the Tavria operational-strategic grouping of troops, General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“In the Tavria direction, the Defense Forces have liberated the territories near Krasnohorivka in Donetsk region, which have been occupied since 2014. The advance of our forces continues,” he emphasized.

At the same time, the spokesman for the Joint Press Center of the Tavria Defense Forces, Valerii Shershen, told the nationwide telethon “United News” that Ukrainian troops had pushed the Russians out of the area about a week ago, but the information was not disseminated for tactical reasons.

“The news was a week late. Certain tactical considerations are understandable. Indeed, several positions were seized near Krasnohorivka as a result of a well-prepared assault. There were imitations of actions, and support from artillery and heavy equipment. They also cleared certain areas of mines,” said Shershen.
