Soldiers of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade “Edelweiss” downed a Russian Su-25 fighter jet today, June 28.
The brigade announced this on Instagram, Ukrinform reports.
“Today, fighters of the anti-aircraft missile artillery division of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade ‘Edelweiss’ shot down a Russian Su-25 fighter jet with Igla MANPADS,” the report says.
As Ukrinform reported, from February 24, 2022 to June 28, 2023, the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 227,100 Russian invaders, including 930 occupiers in the past day.
