In the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region and in the city of Melitopol, explosions were heard in places where enemy equipment was concentrated.
Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov said this on the air of the national telethon “United News”, Ukrinform reports.
“Yesterday was extremely tense for the occupants both in the territory of the temporarily occupied Melitopol and in the Zaporizhzhia region. It all started at about midnight when more than 5 explosions took place in Melitopol, then continued at 10 am and ended with explosions at about 20:00,” said Fedorov.
He noted that the explosions were heard in a locomotive depot captured by the enemy, on the territory of the military base in Aviastopol and near the village of Kostyantynivka, where enemy troops were concentrated.
Also, due to the failure of the enemy’s air defense system, missile fragments fell on the territory of the central park in Melitopol.
As reported by Ukrinform, at night on June 28, explosions occurred in Melitopol, Tokmak and Mykhailivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
