Zelensky holds Staff meeting on situation at ZNPP, front

President Volodymyr Zelensky held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief regarding the protection of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, the situation at the front, and domestic arms production.

“Today, an extended Staff meeting was held. The main challenges were discussed for two hours. The first is the protection of the nuclear power plant. Air Force commander Oleshchuk, Minister [of Internal Affairs] Klymenko, Chief of the State Border Guard Service Deyneko made reports. We also listened to Energoatom director Kotin and director of the Khmelnytskyi NPP Koziura,” Zelensky posted on Telegram.

Also, according to him, the situation at the front was discussed. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny, commanders Oleksandr Syrskyi, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, Eduard Moskaliov, and Serhiy Nayev reported.

“The Commander-in-Chief has the order to strengthen the North,” the President informed about the decisions made.

In addition, the Head of State noted that the meeting participants discussed the further expansion of domestic equipment and ammunition production, the acceleration of the pace of repair of Western type equipment. Commander of the Logistics Forces Oleh Huliak, Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin, Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov, and Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov reported on these issues.
