British Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons has reacted to a Russian drone attack on Kyiv, calling the night of July 13 “pretty nasty.”
According to Ukrinform, the diplomat reported this on her Twitter account.
Simmons said that Iranian-made drones attacked Kyiv, including the district where she lives.
“Pretty nasty night. Russian UAV attacks on Kyiv from several directions, reportedly, including the district I live in and its neighbor. No wonder things got so loud. This morning I’m grateful for Ukrainian air defense and for my windowless shelter. Now time to get some air,” she wrote.
Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed about ten enemy drones in the Kyiv area during a nighttime drone attack on Ukraine.
In total, on the night of July 12 to July 13, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 20 Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 attack drones.
