On the night of July 25, 2023, Russian troops attacked the Cherkasy region with loitering munitions.
The relevant statement was made by Cherkasy Regional Military Administration Head Ihor Taburets on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The enemy attacked the Cherkasy region with combat drones. We had three explosions. Two Shahed drones struck fields and one more hit an empty agricultural hangar,” Taburets wrote.
In his words, people remained unharmed, and no fire broke out. Emergency response teams are working at the scene.
