President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with the Prime Minister of Great Britain Rishi Sunak in a phone call the Russian shelling of Ukrainian ports and the city of Odesa, as well as Ukraine’s current defense needs and the issue of security guarantees.

That’s according to Zelensky’s tweet, Ukrinform reports.

“Spoke about Russia’s daily attempts to destroy Odesa’s historic center and port infrastructure. We must defend Odesa. Ukraine urgently needs to strengthen its air defense to protect its historical heritage and continue the Black Sea Grain Initiative. We discussed our further defense cooperation, the course of Ukrainian offensive operations. I outlined the current defense needs of Ukraine,” Zelenskyy informed.
