Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, General Daniel Zmeko discussed the Ukrainian army needs for weapons, ammunition, and air defense systems.
“We held a constructive meeting, worked at one of the command posts. I familiarized my colleague with the situation at the front, the course of our defensive and offensive operations, told about the actions of the enemy,” Zaluzhny posted on Telegram.
According to the Commander-in-Chief, the current needs of the Ukrainian army for weapons, ammunition, and air defense systems were also discussed, and the importance of training Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighters was emphasized.
Zaluzhny thanked his Slovak colleagues for the visit and support for Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression.
As reported, Minister of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of Slovakia Peter Balík said that his country would actively support President Zelensky’s 10-point Peace Formula.
