Two kamikaze drones fell on the territory of a military unit in Russia’s Rostov region early on Sunday, August 20.
Rostov region governor Vasily Golubev reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Two drones fell on the territory of a military unit in Kamensk and another one a kilometer north of Novoshakhtinsk. There are no victims or destruction due to the fall of drones,” he said.
According to Golubev, electronic warfare (EW) systems “successfully worked” to jam the drones. He claimed that “air defenses were not used due to the small size of the target.”
Earlier reports said that the roof of the train station building in Russia’s Kursk caught fire due to the fall of a drone.
