Air Defense Forces shot down two enemy UAVs of the Shahed type over the Sumy region.
The Sumy Regional Air Defense Command reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Air Defense Forces shot down two enemy Shahed UAVs over the Sumy region. We thank our defenders of the sky!” the message says.
At the same time, the air raid alert in the region continues, and people are asked to stay in shelters.
Earlier there were reports of explosions in the Sumy region, and Air Defense was operating. At 12:30 a.m., an air alert was announced in the region due to the threat of enemy drones.
As reported, on Wednesday at 10 a.m., a Russian UAV hit a school in Romny, in the Sumy region, killing at least two people, injuring others and trapping them under the rubble. A search operation is underway.
