Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and Brussels Mayor Philippe Close have discussed the holding of the Kyiv Investment Forum that is to be held in November in the Belgian capital.

“Today I met with the mayor of Brussels, Philippe Close. We discussed the Kyiv Investment Forum that will be held in Brussels this year, in November. Representatives of international business, financial companies, investors, and experts from different countries will join the event,” Klitschko posted on Telegram.

According to him, Close offered help and organized a forum in his city last year.

“Then we signed a Memorandum of Cooperation regarding the implementation of projects to support critical infrastructure, restoration and further development of Kyiv and created the Brussels platform for joining efforts. And 15 European cities have already joined it as of today,” Klitschko said.

He also offered the mayor of Brussels to join the project on a rehabilitation center for defenders in Kyiv.

“For a year and a half, Brussels handed over four ambulances to Kyiv, technological medical equipment installed in the capital’s hospitals, medical materials and humanitarian aid and is preparing the next aid,” Klitschko noted.
