The Republic of Azerbaijan has sent another shipment of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, consisting of power equipment.
The relevant statement was made by Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC), an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to Jahid Mikayilov, Head of Press Section at the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the above shipment was dispatched from the Sumgayit Technologies Park.

The first batch of equipment was sent as a convoy of 10 trucks. It includes nearly 90,000 meters of electrical cables and wires, as well as 25 generators and seven sets of transformers, intended to support the restoration of stable power supply services in Ukraine’s war-affected regions.
The next shipment is expected to be sent in the coming days. The aid was organized at the request of the Ukrainian side and valued at a total of USD 2 million.
Previously, Azerbaijan also sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine, related to electricity supply. Overall, the total amount of humanitarian assistance provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine, including recovery and reconstruction efforts, has already exceeded USD 44 million.
A reminder that, on August 11, 2025, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree allocating an additional USD 2 million for the purchase of electrical equipment for Ukraine.
On August 10, 2025, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone conversation with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to discuss bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, as well as diplomatic communication with the United States and European partners.
