In July, the Ministry of Defense approved seven new models of automotive equipment for various purposes for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Ministry of Defense with reference to information from the Main Directorate for Life Cycle Support of Weapons and Military Equipment.
“The list of new vehicles includes off-road pickups with single and double cabs, all-wheel-drive minibuses, and special-purpose vehicles,” the report says.
Since the beginning of 2025, the defense ministry has approved nearly 70 new vehicle models for use, most of which are Ukrainian-made.
“Many of these vehicles are capable of performing a wide range of tasks based on their technical characteristics. These include special-purpose vehicles, trucks, universal wheeled chassis, mobile cranes, mobile workshops, evacuation tow trucks, vehicles for transporting heavy and oversized cargo, trailers, semi-trailers, etc.,” the Ministry of Defense emphasized.
Last year, more than 200 new models of automotive equipment were put into operation.
“Automotive equipment is an important category of weapons that ensures the mobility and logistics of troops,” the ministry emphasized.
As reported by Ukrinform, representatives of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Ground Forces Command demonstrated four main types of ground-based robotic systems that are actively used on the front lines: Liut, Termit, Ardal, and Gnome-Miner.
