
In September 2025, the first meeting of the Board of the U.S.-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund will take place, where Ukraine is planning to present its first investment projects to the American side.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Economy, Environment and Agriculture Minister Oleksii Sobolev during a presentation of the Government’s Action Plan, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“This September, the first meeting of the Fund’s Board will take place, which we are very actively preparing now. The first technical decisions on launching the Fund will be announced there. There are already agreements with the United States on filling it with the first money from their and our side. Now, we are working on a list of investment projects,” Sobolev told.
In his words, in September 2025, a large delegation from the United States is expected to visit and inspect the proposed facilities in Ukraine.
According to Sobolev, understanding about the Fund’s first investments should be shaped by late 2025.
A reminder that, on May 8, 2025, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine endorsed draft bill No. 0309 “On the ratification of the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the United States of America on the establishment of the U.S.-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund”. This document ratifies the corresponding agreement, which was signed in Washington on April 30, 2025.
The U.S.-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund was officially launched on May 23, 2025. The Fund will invest the funding contributed by the United States and Ukraine in natural resources, oil and gas, ports, and related infrastructure projects in Ukraine.
