In January-July 2025, Ukraine’s gasoline consumption increased by 5.6% compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, the consumption of diesel fuel reduced by 11%, and liquefied petroleum gas – by 10%.

The relevant statement was made by A95 Consulting Group Director Serhii Kuiun in a commentary to Ukrinform.

“Over seven months of 2025, there has been an upward trend in the consumption of gasoline (+5.6% compared to January-July 2024) along with a downward trend in the consumption of diesel fuel and liquefied petroleum gas (-11% and -10% respectively),” Kuiun noted.

A reminder that, with the diversified mechanism for fuel supply and competition, which was developed in 2022, Ukraine’s fuel market operation remains stable.
