Another group of children has been evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory (TOT) of the Kherson region to an area under Ukrainian control.
According to Ukrinform, the news was shared on Telegram by Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
“Another group of children who had been living in temporarily occupied communities of the Kherson region has been brought back to Ukrainian-controlled territory,” he wrote.
The children are between the ages of 11 and 17. During their journey through Russia, they endured searches, interrogations, humiliation, and psychological pressure.
They are now safe. This was made possible through the implementation of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s initiative “Bring Kids Back UA” and the support of Save Ukraine.
As Prokudin emphasized, the children are currently undergoing rehabilitation, receiving psychological assistance, restoring their documents, and once again have the opportunity to study and make plans for the future.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, as of August 12, 2025, a total of 117 children have been evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region since the beginning of the year.
