Ukraine is deepening its industrial cooperation with Denmark.
This was announced on Telegram by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal following a meeting in Kyiv with Danish Minister of Defense Troels Lund Poulsen and members of the Danish Parliament.
“In the near future, we will launch a major project under the President’s ‘Build with Ukraine’ initiative. This will allow us to scale up the production of Ukrainian weapons on Danish territory and more effectively supply our troops with everything they need. It marks the next phase of our cooperation, which began with the highly effective ‘Danish model’ of support,” Shmyhal wrote.

He added that this model has enabled international partners to invest in the production of Ukrainian weapons for the needs of the Defense Forces.
In addition, the parties discussed the situation on the front lines and key priorities: strengthening air defense to counter Russian terror, and developing long-range weaponry to force Russia toward peace.
“We expect the ‘Build with Ukraine’ initiative to make a significant contribution toward achieving these goals,” Shmyhal noted.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Defense Ministers of Ukraine and Latvia—Denys Shmyhal and Andris Spruds—also met to discuss plans for long- and short-term defense cooperation.
