NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte emphasized that the world cannot be naive about Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin following another night of Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv.
According to Ukrinform, the NATO representation in Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
“We cannot be naive about Vladimir Putin. And last night is evidence of that … innocent civilians and civilian infrastructure have been hit massively again by Russian attacks on Ukraine,” Rutte said.
The NATO representation in Ukraine offered heartfelt condolences to the victims and their families. It also extended support to international colleagues from EU Delegation to Ukraine and the British Council in Ukraine, who had been affected by the attacks.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, the number of people killed in the combined Russian attack on Kyiv has risen to 19, while up to ten more may still be trapped under the rubble.
