107 Ukrainian rescuers killed since start of full-scale war

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, 107 employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) have been killed.

This was reported by the SES press service on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“The SES honors the heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine. Today, SES units across the country joined the campaign ‘Service. Protection. Remembrance’ to pay tribute to those who will never return home. 107 rescuers… 107 hearts that stopped beating because of the war,” the statement reads.

The press service described the fallen rescuers as symbols of courage and self-sacrifice.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian forces struck an SES service vehicle, killing rescuer Danylo Khyzhniak.
